“I’ve come to the conclusion that we are constantly falling throughout our lives. Falling for people, for places, for ideas. Love is the utmost falling. And that feeling is known by anyone who’s ever lived. And we are here because we are supposed to fall. We innately let go of what we know — our convictions, our serenity. Everything is left behind. We are products of nature — spontaneous beings. We surrender to higher powers perhaps because we don’t want to fall for ourselves, and live through our consequences. We fall for science because it’s a process that is timeless and accountable. And others surrender to people they just love to be with, to abstraction they love to think about, and to knowing that everything will be okay, no matter what the end will be.”
